Bio
Denys Proteau, aka Karadeniz, is a dancer’s favorite musician and a musician’s favorite dancer!
Karadeniz has danced and taught line dances of Turkey and Eastern Europe at parties, workshops, and weekly international folk dance groups and has performed in hundreds of music and dance shows spanning over two decades. A veteran of various Scandinavian, Bulgarian, Turkish, and international bands and dance troupes, Karadeniz now also referees and plays flat-track roller derby!
